1927 Buick

This Drophead Buick although an American make, was actually built under licence in Australia. In fact she still possesses the coachbuilders identification plate showing an address in Melbourne, Australia. These cars were renowned for their use by both the law enforcement agencies and gangsters of the American prohibition era, in fact, it was a favourite of the infamous Al Capone.

Ours is finished in Olde English white with Royal blue wings and a lighter blue leather interior. The ‘Artillery wheels’ (wooden spokes) and white walled tyres add the finishing touch.
